Zoysia Australis is a tough and hardy, medium-textured Zoysia japonica with a beautiful blue/green leaf. It’s a new Zoysia variety that provides solutions for Aussie families with its ability to be installed in a wide range of areas. It can stand up to the stresses of a family and pets and has shade tolerance to thrive where other grasses falter.
Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo Grass has proven itself to grow anywhere from almost full shade to extreme sun and heat. Sir Walter is an Australian product which is bred to be tough against extreme conditions. It requires very little mowing and fertilising throughout the year.
Sir Grange Zoysia is a premium turf variety that has a fine dark green leaf and is incredibly tolerant to shade, which needs very little nutrients and water. These unique qualities make it a great choice for our Australian conditions – it is also the number one selling Zoysia grass in America.
TifTuf is the result of almost twenty-five years of research and development. It was hand selected from 30,000 different varieties of Bermuda turf. It has shown itself to be superior against drought, shade and wear tolerance – while maintaining its winter colour and quality year-round.
Platinum Zoysia is a finer leaf blade than buffalo grasses and is a lot more tolerant to extreme wear. Upkeep is minimal and it doesn’t thatch and scalp as much after mowing like other varieties. It is weed tolerant since it out-competes and is well tolerant of most common lawn herbicides.
Nullarbor Couch is a hardy grass which looks similar to Greenlees Park. It has been primarily developed for use on sporting ovals and golf courses. Nullarbor has the ability to rapidly recover from damage or stress (i.e. drought, frosts and heavy traffic) and needs a full day of sun to thrive.
