Ferris WG controls a variety of broadleaf weeds including Bindii, Black Thistle, Catsear, Cotula, Cudweed, Guildford (Onion) Grass, Medic, Mouse Ear Chickweed, Oxalis, White Clover, Onion Weed and False Onion Weeds. It also provides control of Ryegrass and suppression of Wintergrass and Bahia Grass, including seedhead reduction in Bahia Grass.

The product contains 100g/kg Iodosulfuron-Methyl-Sodium and is formulated as a wettable granular (WG) concentrate. Ferris WG is formulated in Australia from imported materials and is designed to provide reliable weed control while producing minimal odour thanks to its non-phenoxy formulation.
